Fascinated at an early age by photography, Duane Trammell began taking pictures while in grade school. As he got older, his interest grew to include film and video. He produced his first short film while a freshman in high school. This film later became a permanent part of his school’s library of educational films. He continued to experiment in film while serving in the US Navy. Most of his work during this period explored various forms of animation. After leaving the Navy, he decided to pursue an education in film earning a Bachelor's degree in Television, Film and New Media Production from San Diego State University. He has produced film and art gallery exhibitions for the internationally renowned Chicano art collaboration ‘Los Anthropolocos’ as well as commercial work for such clients as the Hard Rock Café, USS Midway Aircraft Carrier Museum, Ballast Point Brewery and San Diego City College. Since graduating San Diego State University, he has worked as Producer, Associate Programmer and Juror for the Temecula Valley International Film and Music Festival and Assistant Director/2nd Unit Director for the feature film ‘Something Blue’. Over the years, Duane has forged relationships with many industry professionals. Among those is Jeff Krebs with whom Duane has subsequently formed a professional partnership with Atomic Phizz Productions.
